New board member at Heartwood Wealth Management

Heartwood Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Guy Hudson to its board when he joins early in 2008.

Hudson will initially take responsibility for all intermediary relationships, distribution strategy, marketing and product development.

He joins from BNY Mellon Asset Management International where he was responsible for international distribution, also serving as chief distribution officer for its JV WestLB Mellon Asset Management.

Heartwood CEO David Lough says: “We are delighted that Guy has agreed to join us. He will be an important part of our future leadership team. We are building our next generation management team, largely from inside but leavening it with exceptional outside talent when the opportunity occurs. Guy brings considerable distribution experience in private banking and investment management which will underpin our growing size and presence in the UK wealth management sector.”
