New appointment at Gartmore

Gartmore has announced the appointment of Hamish Chamberlayne to the role of investment analyst on its global equities team.

Chamberlayne will start work on October 1 and will report to head of global equities, Neil Rogan.

Chamberlayne joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he has worked since 2004 as an audit senior covering a number of sectors including technology, energy and communications.

Head of global equities Neil Rogan says: “The last quarter has been an interesting and somewhat challenging period, so I am very pleased with our successes to date. Hamish’s appointment will bolster the global team’s dedicated analyst resource which we believe will aid continued growth and success using our ‘best-of-the-best’ ideas approach.”
