Nest managing director of customer and proposition John Taylor exits

Nest managing director of customer and proposition John Taylor has left the Government-backed pension scheme after just 12 months.

Taylor, who has been leading Nest’s engagement with advisers over recent months, has joined pensions consultant Hymans Robertson as head of delivery for its Guided Outcomes defined contribution scheme management proposition.

Hymans says in his new role Taylor will be responsible for leading the delivery of GO’s technology platform and its ongoing operation.

Hymans Robertson partner Chris Noon says: “John’s appointment is another key step in building our Guided Outcomes service for clients. His track record in the industry and history of developing platforms fits perfectly with what we are building.

“His work at Nest has also put him right at the centre of the ongoing efforts to make DC work better for members.”

Taylor, who has previously held marketing director positions at Standard Life and Scottish Widows, will begin his new role in May.

He adds: “I have really enjoyed my time at Nest and am now delighted to be joining Hymans Roberston, another organisation I have long admired.

“The opportunity to lead the delivery of Guided Outcomes, a unique development that can make a significant difference to DC savers, was too great to resist.”
