Nest confirms employer and member panel line-ups

Nest has confirmed the line-up of the employer and member panels which will hold the scheme’s trustees to account.

The employer panel comprises nine people who will represent the business community, including CBI principal policy adviser Jim Bligh and former EEF head of employment policy David Yeandle.

Nest has appointed five individuals to represent the views of members, including Pfeg chief executive Wendy van den Hende and former TPAS chief executive Malcolm McLean.

Employer panel chairman Paul Jagger says: “The employer panel will play a critical role in ensuring the scheme works for all the employers that use it and in helping us to make sure NEST understands employers’ needs.”

Member panel chairman Museji Takolia says: “The member panel is an essential part of the framework that helps ensure Nest is run in the interests of its members. The member panel will have a critical role in ensuring that issues affecting Nest members can be represented.”
