Neptune appoints head of third party distribution.

Neptune has appointed John Lester as head of third party distribution following the doubling of its funds under management in 2005 to 510m.

Lester will aim to strengthen ties with life insurance firms, platforms and fund supermarkets. He joins from HSBC investments UK where he was associate director.

Neptune sales director Patrick Berton says: “We are pleased to welcome on board someone of John’s experience and stature and look forward to inheriting the wealth of knowledge and personal relationships that he is able to bring.”
