Aim: Income and the return of capital linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 index

Minimum-maximum investment: £10,000-£1m, Isa £7,200

Term: Five years

Return: 8.1% income a year, 0.6512% income a month

Guarantee: Original capital returned in full at the end of the term provided the index does not fall by at least 50% without returning to at least its initial value

Closing date: May 1, 2009, April 17, 2009 for Isa transfers

Moody’s downgrades L&G
