Minimum loan: £15,000

Maximum loan: Up to 60% of valuation subject to a maximum of £500,000

Income multiples: Rental income must be at least 125% of the mortgage repayment on an interest only basis calculated at 7 per cent

Conditions: Overpayments of up to 10% a year allowed without penalty in the fixed-rate period, free valuation and free legal fees for remortgages, not available for properties in Northern Ireland, up to 10 properties allowed with the RBS Group within a £3.5m maximum

Redemption fee: 3% of the amount repaid in the first two years
