Consumers can now buy NS&I products from some WH Smith travel shops at train stations and airports, building on the initial 400 stores the deal begun with in November last year. Income bonds will also be added to the campaign.
The rollout will be supported by a radio campaign on Classic FM, alongside web and email activity.
NS&I director of customer sales and retention John Prout says: “Our partnership with WH Smith is significant in fulfilling our aim of making it simple and convenient for people to get the information they need to save.
“It helps to bring savings to the attention of people in their everyday lives, on their way home from work through the travel stores or when they shop on the high street. This is another proven retail channel to add to our direct phone and online services, as well as our long-standing partnership with the Post Office.”
