National IFA joins forces with East Anglia firm

What's killing UK productivityNational IFA Continuum has added Norwich IFA Peter Barton to its group as it expands into East Anglia.

Continuum says it will look to continue expanding its footprint as demand for financial advice has increased since it signed a partnership with accountancy network 2020 Innovation.

There remains a strong pipeline of other advisers who could potentially join Continuum as it expands, the firm says.

Continuum managing partner Martin Brown says: “Peter is an outstanding professional and brings experience to the team which will further expand our business into East Anglia.

“Our focus remains on a strong three-way relationship between Continuum, the adviser and the client. This has driven outstanding year-on-year organic growth where our advisers enjoy extensive face-to-face and online support, including links with local accountants through our 2020 relationship.”

Barton says:  “I was very keen to be part of a larger, highly efficient and
professional organisation. I was most impressed at the integrity of everyone within the business and what had been achieved to date, as well as the infrastructure to support the adviser’s day to day’.”

UFPLS vs flexi-access drawdown: drawdown wins by a country mile

If there is a straight choice between flexi-access pension drawdown and uncrystallised funds pension lump sum, flexi-access wins by a country mile in virtually every situation.
