Munich Re Life appoints head of life development team

Munich Re UK Life branch is appointing Andrew Howe to head up its life development team.

Howe has responsibility for the development of long term business for the branch.

Howe began his career at M&G Re in 1990, where he qualified as an actuary before moving on to leading protection company Swiss Life from 1996 to 2000. After starting the UK’s first virtual life office, Howe joined Legal and General in 2002 until 2004.

Munich Re UK General Manager Martin Werth says: “Andrew has considerable experience in the life protection market and will be a valuable asset for our business. “
