MPC Investors appoint Grant Webster to multi asset team

MPC Investors has appointed Grant Webster as quantitative analyst within its multi asset team.

Webster will report to Miles Geldard, head of multi assets and will support him and Lee Manzi, portfolio manager, who both joined MPC last year and launched the MPC global convertibles fund and the MPC strategic reserve fund in January 2007.

Webster joins from Investec Bank where he worked as an equity analyst for the industrial transport, small-cap financials and global gold sectors. Prior to this he was a finance tutor at the University of Cape Town. Webster has also worked for Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank.

MPC Investors chief executive Peter Harrison says: “Grant’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to further developing the multi asset team following the successful launch of the two Sicav funds earlier this year. We welcome Grant on board and look forward to benefiting from his contribution to the team in meeting the increasingly diverse needs of our clients.”
