Mortgage next launches debt management service

Mortgage Next has launched a debt management service for its appointed representatives and directly authorised brokers to provide a white label debt management website.

The scheme enables brokers to offer debt consolidation, insolvency advice and remortgage solutions to consumers and will charge brokers £300 per year to use the service.

If remortgaging is the best solution for the client then the broker will provide advice but if the client’s financial needs do not suit this option then the broker will be paid a referral fee to assign the client to a qualified debt management adviser.

Brokers will receive a day’s training on the service and five free leads.

Marketing Director Justine Tomlinson says: “During regular feedback meetings held with brokers, debt management services and sub prime leads have frequently been quoted as a desirable additional service.

“With UK personal debt now exceeding £1 trillion, debt management is an important extension to the financial advice services they already offer their clients.”
