Mortgage Express&#39 website for IFAs

Bradford & Bingley&#39s specialist lending arm Mortgage Express is launching a new internet service for IFAs allowing them to conduct business online.

Mx-online provides quotations, automated decisions in principle and allows submission of applications and “real time” case tracking.

Advisers can also develop online buy-to-let portfolios for clients such as landlords. Client details are stored so only information on new property has to be entered.

The service is available at either www.mx-online.co.uk or via Mortgage Express&#39new dedicated link at www.mortgage-express.co.uk.

On the Mortgage Express website intermediaries can obtain information on prod-ucts, download forms, request brochures online and use the mortgage calculator to see the effect of flexible payments.

The e-commerce behind the new offer was done by Alltel Mortgage Solutions which has just competed a pilot scheme of the service with a number of brokers.

Mortgage Express managing director Tim Dawson says: “We have dedicated a lot of time and effort to making sure our e-business proposition is just right, with rigorous testing before launch. I believe mx-online and the new intermediary website will give intermediaries just what they need to compete in this fast-moving industry – quick decisions in principle, quick applications and the chance to check on their customers&#39 progress whenever they need to.”
