Morningstar launches online fund rating service

US fund ratings and data agency Morningstar launches its service in the UK this week. The service, which is free to both IFAs and direct private investors, provides online data on more than 3,700 unit trusts, Oeics and offshore funds.

The website includes portfolio analysis tools, news, as well as fund performance data and quantitative ratings. It can be found at www.morningstar.co.uk
