Morley Global fund raises £160m before launch

Morley Fund Management announces its Global Opportunities Trust has raised £160m in advance of its launch.

The fund&#39s goal is to provide a high level of monthly income as well as potential for capital growth over its 10 year life.

It will invest globally across business and industry sectors with significantly above average growth prospects.

The fund will be managed under a sub-advisory agreement with Morley by the Dutch arm of CGNU.

Morley Fund Management head of investment trusts David Keen says: “The underlying equity portfolio offers prospective investors a very high quality diversified asset base with considerable potential for capital growth and a high level of income from a portfolio of high yield bonds.”
