Morley Fund Management appoints James Tanner in a new role as managing director of distribution.
Tanner will report to Morley chief executive officer Keith Jones and will also join the Morley board.
He joins from EMEA at HSBC, where he was managing director institutional sales, global markets. Between 1983 and 2002, Tanner worked for Morgan Stanley in various roles, including managing director, head European investment management business and managing director, head international private client group, Asia.
Tanners key responsibilities will focus on UK and international distribution. Alan Gadd, managing director UK and European retail and Alistair Morrison, managing director, international will be his main reports.
