Mordrick to join Rensburg

Former Invesco Perpetual associate director of sales Kevin Mordrick is to join Rensburg Fund Management as a regional sales director.

Rensburg says his move intends to boost the the level of service that it provides to advisers and discretionary managers in London and the South East.

Rensburg joint managing director David Acfield says: “We could not be more pleased that Kevin is joining us. We wanted to attract someone with genuine experience of the market and well-established business contacts – someone who could clearly and effectively communicate our managers’ views.

“Rensburg has been growing strongly and consistently, yet because of our ‘niche’ and ‘specialist’ status in the market we know that we cannot afford to be complacent. Over recent years the retail market has changed a lot and with the advent of platforms and ‘wraps’ distribution has become far more automated. Nevertheless, we think that our clients are often looking for a rather more tailored service. Kevin, the rest of the team and I are there to deliver it.’

Mordrick says: “I am really looking forward to helping to build the company’s position in the market. Strangely, it is much the size that Perpetual was when I joined in the early 90s. This too is a dynamic organisation with a tremendous amount of potential – and I’m delighted to be a part of it.”
