Moneysupermarket in link-up with press sites

Moneysupermarket.com is white-labelling its comparative account aggregation system in partnerships with national press personal finance websites Money Telegraph and the Mail&#39s This Is Money.

The deal will allow users of the thisismoney.co.uk and money.telegraph.co.uk websites to access their current and savings accounts, mortgage, credit card, Isa and travel insurance details online. The system displays the customer&#39s own products together with a list of best-buy products.

Once users have entered their relevant user identification and passwords into the aggregator, they can see all their financial information consolidated on to one web page, accessed by a single pin number.

Moneysupermarket.com general manager Chris Nixon says: “We believe comparative account aggregation is a killer application. There will be nowhere to hide for uncompetitive providers.”

Financial Technology Research Centre director Ian McKenna says: “This sort of technology is more of a threat to brokers in the mortgage field than people operating in the investment arena.”
