Money Portal partners with OBSR

Money Portal has partnered with Old Broad Street Research in a move that will provide fund support to the IFA firms research department.

The deal will see Money Portal’s internal fund research team, which is headed by Stewart Smith, given access to OBSR’s own fund research and insights.

Money Portal chief operating officer Andrew Firth says the deal maintains the firm’s commitment to offering a market-leading research tool to advisers and expects more of them to take up the facility following the tie-up with OBSR.

He says: “By relying on our internal expertise supported by OBSR, our advisers will find they are able to offer an even better service to their clients and save valuable time which can be devoted to enhancing their professional development, increasing their productivity and spending more time with their clients.”

OBSR managing director Richard Downs says: “OBSR is delighted to have been chosen to supply services to Money Portal which is recognised as one of the leading whole of market advisory groups and we are sure that OBSR’s qualitative research approach will be of significant benefit to their advisers.”
