Money Portal appoints Nigel Ward as group chief financial officer

Money Portal has appointed Nigel Ward as group chief financial officer.

The news follows the recent appointments of Richard Craven as executive vice chairman and Mark Lund as chief executive officer.

Ward is a chartered accountant and was previously finance director at John Charcol. He has also held senior finance roles within GE and GE Capital.

Ward will sit on the boards of each of the Money Portal’s regulated subsidiaries.

Managing director Chris Edge says: “The sheer size and complexity of the group is now such that it demands a chief financial officer and it is a pleasure to have someone of Ward’s undoubted experience and skills join us in that capacity.”
