Money Marketing wins four media awards including financial title of the year

Money Marketing group editor Paul McMillan collects the trophy at last night’s awards

Money Marketing won financial B2B title of the year at last night’s prestigious Headlinemoney Awards, the sixth time in a row it has won the award.

At an event in London last night hosted by Alastair Campbell, the former spokesman to Tony Blair, the publication also won best use of social media and was highly commended in the best financial B2B website category.

Money Marketing reporter Tessa Norman was crowned financial B2B journalist of the year while Paul Thomas won an award for top mortgage journalist.

More than 30 titles attracted votes for the B2B title of the year with an independent judging panel then deciding on the winner from a shortlist.

One judge said: “No-one breaks stories like Money Marketing. It is brilliantly relevant and very punchy.”

Another judge said: “The balance of news stories, analysis and features provides financial advisers with a one-stop-shop for what’s happening in their professional world”.

Money Marketing was crowned trade publication of the year at the ABI’s Financial Media Awards last month and swept the board at last year’s Santander Media Awards, winning best professional/trade title, best professional/trade website and best use of social media.
