Money Marketing has been named the financial trade title of the year at the Santander Media Awards 2016, the second time this year it has won this award.

Former head of news Sam Brodbeck also won the judge’s award for trade article of the year, for his cover story on how providers continue to flaunt FCA inducement rules.

The awards were held at The Banking Hall in London on 16 November, and were hosted by Olympian swimmer Mark Foster.

It is the fourth year in a row Money Marketing has collected the award for best financial trade title.

It follows Money Marketing’s success at the Headlinemoney awards in May, which saw the team named financial B2B title of the year and win three individual journalist awards.
