Money Marketing swept the board at this year’s Santander Media Awards, winning best professional/trade title, best professional/trade website and best use of social media.
Money Marketing head of news Natalie Holt was named professional/trade journalist of the year while Paul Thomas, who works across Money Marketing and sister title Mortgage Strategy, was runner-up and also won article of the year.
This year’s awards were held at the Millbank Tower in London. BT Sport’s Jake Humphrey presented Money Marketing group editor Paul McMillan with the three awards (see above with Santander head of mortgages Phil Cliff).
The independent 25-strong judging panel, including advisers, regulators, consumer groups and national newspaper journalists, sifted through over 200 entries.
Judges described Money Marketing as a publication on “top of its subject and clearly understanding of its readership”.
“It is brimming with original journalism, clearly knows its readers, and leads the way with both succinct and comprehensive coverage,” they added.
Judges said the Money Marketing website “delivers breaking news, analysis and opinion to its professional adviser audience on the issues that really matter”.
Earlier this year, Money Marketing won four awards at the Headlinemoney Awards, including B2B title of the year for the fifth time in a row.
