Money Marketing scooped the personal finance trade/professional title of the year award for the second year running at Santander Media Awards.

The awards, now in their 25th year, were held this week at Armoury House in London and were decided by an independent panel of 20 judges.

Judges described Money Marketing as “a publication on top of its subject” and “clearly understanding of its readership”.

Money Marketing was also runner up in personal finance trade/professional website category, praised by the judges as “regularly first with the breaking news” and “easily an equivalent of its print version”.

Money Marketing political reporter Steve Tolley won the trade newcomer award, praised for showing “understanding and strong knowledge of the issues” facing his readers.

Money Marketing pensions reporter Tom Selby was runner-up in the trade journalist of the year category, praised for his “in-depth analysis” and “thirst for a story”.
