Money Marketing scoops best trade paper award

Money Marketing won a smorgasbord of awards at this year’s headlinemoney personal finance awards, held at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London.

The paper won trade title of year beating other shortlisted titles including Mortgage Strategy, Money Management, Mortgage Solutions, New Model Adviser
and Post Magazine.

Money Marketing’s new mortgage reporter Tanya Powley won the rising star award for her work on Post Magazine, pipping MM’s life and protection reporter Nicola York.

Pensions reporter James Salmon won the trade pensions writer of the year and
MM’s former mortgage reporter Guy Anker, now at Money Mail, won trade mortgage writer of the year.

Money Marketing columnist Nic Cicutti won trade columnist of the year and MM columnist and former MM reporter Paul Farrow, now personal finance editor at the Sunday Telegraph, won the overall journalist of the year award.

Headlinemoney is wholly owned by Centaur Media – Money Marketing’s publisher. The judging process is entirely independent with personal finance journalists and PRs voting for their favourite journalists. Shortlisted candidates then had to submit three pieces of work which are assessed by a panel of industry experts.
