MoJ confirms Grass Roots investigation

The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that it is investigating the claims management firm Grass Roots Financial, which shares the same offices as suspended Cartel Client Review.

A MoJ spokeswoman confirms that the firm is under investigation but could not reveal any details regarding the case.

She says: “We can confirm that we are investigating Grass Roots. We are not able to comment further on specific issues under investigation as to do so could jeopardise the outcome of the investigation.”

The MoJ last week suspended the authorisation of claim chasers Cartel Client Review Ltd, who share the same offices as Grass roots.

Similarly, the Solicitors Regulation Association shut down the offices of Richard Burley of Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors, who provided legal advice for CCR, earlier this month .

Burley’s office was also in the same complex as both Grass Roots and CCR.

Is that all they have time to do is look at grass roots, isn’t that up to the idividual football clubs who are having the pitch problems, I don’t think the MoJ has thought about their remit properly
