Moffatt quits Portal

The Money Portal head of investment development David Moffatt is leaving the group this week and is returning to former employer Adnitor.

Moffatt joined TMP 18 months ago to set up its platform strategy and help launch its fund range but plans for both have been put on ice.

Moffatt leaves TMP this week, officially finishing on Friday, August 10.

He is return to Adnitor as a director alongside chief operating officer David Reed and chief executive Karen Forrest.

TMP group head of distribution Alan Easter says: “After a full review of resources and priorities, it has been decided that David will leave the company. We wish him well with his new ventures.”

Moffatt says: “Since the acquisition of Millfield, the shape of the group has changed. They no longer want their own platform and their own fund product proposition. There is no other role there that I can really get my teeth into.”
