Miton fund loses AA rating

Old Broad Street Research (OBSR) has withdrawn the AA rating from the CF Miton Cautious Income fund.

The rating was suspended in June 2008 when Midas Capital, Miton’s parent company, announced it would hand the £29m fund to Alan Borrows and Simon Edwards, both Midas fund managers.

The fund ratings agency says the transfer has not yet taken place, and the fund is still being run by Sam Liddle of Miton. OBSR says it plans to monitor the fund’s progress.
