Misys in talks with life offices

Misys has admitted it is discussions with key life and pensions providers about its future strategy.

In a Stock Exchange notice issued at 6pm on March 19, Misys says it has appointed Desdner Kleinwort Wasserstein to advise on opportunities to advise and expand it activities.

Misys chairman Kevin Lomax says: "We believe that the recent anouncement by the FSA and the ongoing Sandler Review are positive for the industry as a whole and Misys and its member firms in particular."
