The multi-manager group says the multi-asset funds are already popular with advisers who want to tap into the asset allocation skills of Martin Gray and the equity slant of Sam Liddle’s global fund.
Gray’s special situations portfolio and strategic opportunities portfolio have been top performers in the IMA balanced managed sector since launch and Midas attributes this to the free rein Gray has in managing them. Gray has recently taken profits from his UK and US equity holdings in the special situations portfolio following the strong rally in markets.
Interest in Liddle’s global portfolio is expected to increase if equity markets continue to rise as Midas Capital believes this will prompt more IFAs to look at the IMA active managed sector, in which the fund sits.
Business development director David Thomas says: “We are pleased to have the Miton funds available on FundsNetwork. They are increasingly popular among advisers.”
