The website at www.new midas2.co.uk site provides links to information on the CF Midas balanced growth fund, CF Midas balanced income fund and Midas income and growth trust.
It also contains a news section, literature downloads, information on how to invest and a contacts list.
The company says it had a good website for many years but it had not been reviewed for some time. It felt that 2008 was an appropriate time to refresh the design, in light of recent developments in technology and in the Midas business following the merger.
The overhaul was a joint effort between the company’s in-house IT and marketing teams and a third-party design consultant. The most important factor for Midas was to make it easy for advisers, distribution partners and private investors to access information about the company and its products.
Head of business development David Thomas says: “We spent a long time thinking about the redesign of the website but the implementation was achieved quite quickly. We have aimed for clarity and simplicity and we have tried to keep the site pretty simple in terms of navigation. The most fundamental changes have focused on making sure advisers can quickly find key information about our funds and the distribution platforms on which they are available.”
