Thames River investment director Michael Warren will depart the asset manager, just before he was to assume his new role at F&C.
Warren (pictured) was to become the head of F&C’s retail business next week. His departure follows that of former F&C head of funds and investment trusts Charlie Porter, who left the company at the end of July.
F&C head of client management Mandy Mannix will assume Warren’s sales and distribution responsibilities while head of marketing and communications Tracy Fennell will head the asset manager’s direct-to-consumer strategy.
A statement from the group says: “F&C can confirm that Michael Warren will be leaving F&C at the end of September.
“We thank Michael for his contribution to the group, and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
Warren joined Thames River in 2007 from HSBC Investment, where he was sales and marketing managing director. He has also worked at Barings and Deutsche Asset Management during his career.
