MFS brings over US fund manager for roadshows

MFS International UK is to hold roadshows across the UK for intermediaries, focusing on its US growth equity and US market prospects funds.

The seminars, lasting around an hour, will be held in Newmarket, Birmingham, Manchester, Harrogate, Bristol, Bournemouth and London between January 13 and 16.

MFS International UK, a subsidiary of Boston-based MFS Investment Management, says US growth equity fund associate portfolio manager Peggy Adams will be speaking at the roadshows.

UK sales director Jonathan Willcocks says the seminars offer an opportunity to get an insight direct from the fund manager.

Willcocks says: “From her base in the US, Peggy is in an excellent position to give an informative review of the state of US markets. We believe this first-hand knowledge is essential in running a successful US fund. With the outlook for growth funds in the US positive for 2004, we hope intermediaries will review their clients&#39 allocation in favour of the world&#39s biggest economy.”
