MetLife boosts marketing team to capitalise on Budget reforms

MetLife has recruited former Aviva head of marketing communications Helen Thomas as the firm looks to capitalise on pension reforms announced during the Budget.

Thomas joins MetLife as head of wealth management marketing, having previously led Aviva Life’s marketing operation for 17 years.

MetLife says Thomas will lead the wealth management team as the provider targets higher sales of its unit-linked guarantee products in the wake of the Budget.

Thomas says: “I join MetLife at a very exciting stage in its development.

“Its dedication and focus on financial advisers has served it well and there are considerable opportunities to grow its business further through innovative sales and marketing support.”
