Mercury launches first Isa

Mercury Asset Management has launched its first Isa, the Mercury Unit Trust Isa.


To mark the launch, Mercury is offering a 2 per cent discount on its initial charge for all lump sum investments of £1,000 plus.


The stocks and shares Isa is only available on a maxi basis. It has an initial investment requirement of £1,000 for lump sums and £50 a month for regular contributions.


The Isa offers the choice of 19 funds ranging from its UK smaller companies through to its gold & general fund.
