Menu to be branded Key Facts

The Menu will carry the Key Facts logo and is entitled &#39Key Facts: A Guide to the Cost of Our Services&#39, the FSA has revealed.

Advisers will be obliged to hand it out to consumers at the beginning of the process alongside the Initial Disclosure Document explaining what time of advice they are permitted to give.

It will have five main sections – telling the client the firm is regulated by the FSA, outlining what services it can provide, they payment options available either through commission, fees or a combination of the two, how much the services might cost as compared to the market average and further information including contact details for the regulator.
