Maude made Solution Network chairman

Prestbury, the group that owns the non regulated portal and network group Solution Network, has appointed MP Francis Maude as chairman in the run up to the group&#39s planned flotation on AIM later this year.

Maude, who started his career as a criminal barrister, was financial secretary to the Treasury in the early 1990s when the original polarisation rules were implemented.

In addition to his new role, Maude is MP for Horsham, Sussex and non-executive director for re-insurance group Benfield.
