Mary-Anne McIntyre exits Old Mutual in leadership reshuffle

Exit-Man-Door-Depart-Leave-700.jpgFormer Openwork chief executive Mary-Anne McIntyre is to depart Old Mutual just three months after joining as chief distribution officer.

McIntyre’s move from Openwork was only announced in March and she formally took up the role in September.

However, Old Mutual says she will leave the business as it completes changes to its advice leadership.

An Old Mutual spokeswoman declined to comment on the reasons behind McIntyre’s departure.

However, the firm said in a statement that McIntyre “leaves the business with our best wishes and we wish her every success in the future”.

She will be replaced by Intrinsic chief executive Richard Freeman, whose departure from the firm’s network business was announced in mid-November.

Freeman will be replaced at the helm of Intrinsic by Andy Thompson, who was previously managing director.
