Marlborough Stirling boosts loan processing

Financial services software company Marlborough Stirling is offering mortgage lenders an internet capability to boost loan processing.

The new component all ows lenders to gather data from a variety of sources and transfer it electronically to their existing point-of-sale and mortgage application processing systems.

Marlborough says lenders could benefit from new distribution channels without having to change their existing systems.

Egg is one of the lenders using the new service. Negotiations with a number of other lenders are under way.

Marlborough believes that removing the need to rekey information from one system to another will save lenders considerable time and money.

The company also offers a complete e-commerce mortgage management solution that includes point-of-sale, underwriting, and mortgage packaging components.

Project manager Paul Fitzsimmons says: “We have already invested considerably in product development to provide clients with internet capabilities and this is a significant advance because it further enhances their ability to reduce outlay and improve efficiency.”
