Marks to head sales at Hartford

Canada Life head of sales Andy Marks is joining Hartford Life as managing director of sales.

Marks, who has over 20 years experience in the life and pension sector, will be based at The Hartford’s London office.

He will be responsible for leading The Hartford’s UK sales team and driving its sales growth strategy.

Chief executive Michael Kalen says: “We are delighted to welcome Andy to The Hartford. His experience in product sales and service delivery will be invaluable as we con-tinue to expand our operations in the UK. Andy’s appointment will serve to underpin our future growth.”

Marks says: “This is a great time to be joining The Hartford as it continues to grow its European customer base. It is clear that the company’s guaranteed income drawdown proposition delivers value to customers and meets a growing market demand in today’s rapidly changing society.
