Marketing key to prosperity for IFAs in 2009, says IFA Life

IFAs should adapt marketing activities to help their business endure tougher market conditions in 2009, says IFA Life.

According to the financial services social networking website, differentiation, regular interactive communications and blending old and new marketing methodologies will help advisers prosper next year.

The firm has compiled a list of New Year resolutions designed to help IFAs remain resilient in the economic downturn and potentially increase their business levels and emerge stronger when conditions improve.

IFA Life founder Philip Calvert says: “We know that business has fallen off a cliff for some IFAs, and there are others who are sleepwalking close to the edge because they are relying on ongoing income streams. This is no time for complacency, and changes made now will help many to survive and even thrive.”
