Mark Jones appointed head of protection at Friends Prov

Friends Provident has appointed Mark Jones as head of protection marketing after the firm decided to focus on the life and pensions and protection markets rather than wealth management last week.

Jones, who was previously protection products and actuarial manager at the firm, is now responsible for the development of the protection offering including protection products, pricing and promotion.

Jones says: “I’m delighted to be given this opportunity to lead the protection marketing team at the time our strategic review has confirmed protection to be absolutely central to Friends Provident’s strategy.”
