Mark Hyde Harrison to replace Tomlinson as NAPF chairman

Mark Hyde Harrison will replace Lindsay Tomlinson as National Association of Pension Funds chairman in October.

Harrison is chief executive of the Barclays UK Retirement Fund and has been a member of the NAPF investment council since 2006.

He will take the position when Tomlinson’s two-year term ends at the NAPF annual general meeting in Manchester on October 21.

Harrison says: “As chairman of the association I look forward to ensuring the NAPF stays at the forefront of the debate on the future of pension provision in the UK.

“These will be challenging times for the NAPF, which will have to adapt to the new pensions environment and reach out to a wider constituency.”
