Manor Park lets investors choose level of guarantee

Specialist investment house Manor Park is introducing two funds offering a

choice of guaranteed minimum return of between 85 and 110 per cent of the

amount invested.

Manor hopes the three-year guaranteed UK selected growth fund and the

five-year UK capital growth fund will appeal to both cautious and confident

investors.

It says investors concerned about stockmarket volatility can counter their

fears by choosing the five-year fund with a higher capital guarantee of up

to 110 per cent.

Investors can alternatively opt for a lower capital guarantee in return

for higher potential returns.

The three-year fund also allows investors to choose up to a 100 per cent

guarantee or a lower guarantee with a higher potential return.

Returns on both funds are linked to the average growth of the FTSE 100

index over the investment period.

All charges are costed into the funds. Commission is 3 per cent. Minimum

investment is £5,000.

Manor believes the funds are suitable investments for individuals, pension

schemes, companies, corporations, personalised life insurance bonds and

trustees.

Director Alan Williams says: “Investors who might be discouraged from

investing in the stockmarket at a time when returns are particularly

unpredictable can be reassured that their capital can be completely

protected by investing in these funds.”
