Manor fund offers 11% income

Structured product specialist Manor Park has introduced a fixed income and growth fund.

The fund, open until October 24, offers investors either a fixed return of 35 per cent over three years or an annual return of 11 per cent a year, payable on either an annual or quarterly basis.

All the initial capital will be returned at the end of the three-year investmen if the FTSE 100, Eurostoxx 50, S&P 500 and Nikkei 225 are all at the same or above their levels on October 31 this year.

If any index finishes below its starting value, capital will deducted at a rate of 0.75 per cent for every 1 per cent fall in the index. The maximum fall which can be calculated for any single index is 33.3 per cent.

Minimum investment is £5,000. In the interim period between investment and the closing date, interest will be paid at 8 per cent a year.

There will be no explicit charges for the product alth-ough money cannot be withdrawn before the end of its three-year lifetime. Comm-ission is 3 per cent.

Director Alan Williams says: “The fund&#39s simulated past performance over the past 10 years shows that total returns would never have been less than the amount invested. In 96 per cent of cases, returns would have been more than the returns currently on offer from traditional savings accounts, and in most cases would have been significantly higher.

“Now could be the best time to invest in this fund. The levels of the indices to which the fund&#39s capital returns are linked are currently at levels significantly lower than a few months ago and substantially lower than their all-time highs.”
