Fixed term: Five years

Fixed rate: 4.74%

Minimum loan: £50,000

Maximum loan: Up to 80% of valuation subject to a maximum of £200,000

Income multiples: Up to four times principal income plus second or 2.75 times joint

Conditions: Capital repayments of up to 10% a year allowed without penalty in the fixed rate period, free valuation, free legal fees, available for properties in England and Wales, available direct and through intermediaries

Google launches US advice service

Search engine giant Google has launched an online advice service in the US. The “Google advisor” website, launched yesterday, allows investors to search and compare financial offers from a range of providers. Google has yet to confirm whether it will look to launch a similar service in the UK.
