Malcolm Small joins B&CE Insurance board

B&CE Insurance has appointed pensions consultant Malcolm Small to its board.

Small has specialised in all aspects of management in financial services at senior level for the last 15 years.

He spent 14 years with Norwich Union and five years at Merchant Investors.

More recently, as managing director of Lyncombe Consultancy, he has specialised in the regulatory, technical and operational aspects of pensions, and a wide range of other financial services.

He has also recently been appointed director of portfolio and retirement planning at the Tax Incentivised Savings Association.

Small also acts as an adviser to public bodies on pension policy matters.

B&CE chief executive officer Brian Griffiths says: “We are delighted to welcome Malcolm Small to the board. Malcolm has a wealth of experience and we are looking forward to his valuable contribution to an already experienced team.

“In addition to board duties Malcolm has also joined our newly formed group managing committee. This committee is responsible for delivery of the strategic objectives as agreed by the B&CE group board.”
