Macquarie unveils new features for wrap

Macquarie has introduced a range of new features for its wrap including improved uploading of client assets and the ability to monitor and manage clients’ model portfolios.

Financial planners can make changes to model portfolios online without having to contact Macquarie to action the request.

The changes have been made in response to user feedback and also include a greater level of visibility of trades and transfers carried out on the wrap.

Macquarie has also improved the administration of its risk profiling systems.

Head of distribution John Porteous (pictured) says: “The suite of functionality and features that we have just released will enable the advisers using Macquarie Wrap to be more efficient and provide improved service to their clients. This is at the hub of the planning process and integral to our long-term vision for Macquarie Wrap.

“We will continue to work with our clients to further enhance the Macquarie Wrap experience for them providing the functionality and features that best support them, their business and their clients. We have a number of new initiatives underway and look forward to further supporting our users as they grow their businesses in this rapidly growing market.”

  1. If financial planners are doing this, I hope that they have permission to undertake discretionary management as this is what they appear to be encouraging.
