M-link building up to a price war for IFA websites

M-link, the comparative quotes software from Misys, could be about to start a price war among other financial services portals in the launch of its free web builder service.

The service, which will allow individual IFAs to have their own website, has no set-up cost and a monthly charge of £29. It says this compares favourably with other software providers.

No technical training is needed to build the site, which can be built in minutes. The IFA can create their own professional site, get sign-off from their compliance officer and then promote the site live to their clients.

M-link editor in chief Paul Charles says: “There is no set-up fee, which is a common stumbling block for those wanting to harness the marketing power of the internet and meet their clients needs. We are also giving away the website builder for the first month, so IFAs do not have to worry about any up-front charges.”
