LV= has promoted John Perks to managing director of its life and pensions business amid a wider restructure.
After a review of its executive team, LV= has restructured its life business to bring its protection, retirement solutions and heritage businesses under one management team.
Perks, who joined the company in 2007, is currently managing director of LV=’s retirement solutions and heritage businesses. In his new role, which he takes up from 1 July, Perks will report to group chief executive Richard Rowney.
Following the restructure, LV= protection managing director Myles Rix will leave the company.
Rowney says: “[Perks] has a wealth of experience in both retirement solutions and protection and I’m certain he will ensure the business continues to fulfill its mission of helping our members live life more confidently.”
He adds: “On behalf of LV=, I’d like to thank Myles for his continued support, commitment and dedication over the last seven years and wish him all the best in future.”
